Countess Mountbatten’s Own Legion of Frontiersmen is committed to assisting Charities, and predominantly ex-servicemen Charities. to this end we have been active in the following charities:
Countess Mountbatten’s Hospice
We participated in the Walk the Wight raising funds for our Patrons Charity, whilst doings so we also provided first aid to a walker in distress and assisted in getting her to hospital.
Blind Veterans UK
Frontiersmen from the City of London and Colour Squadron provide first Aid cover for the 24hour walk to Brighton each year for this very worth while organisation
The Poppy Appeal
All units actively support and assist the poppy appeal each year in raising funds.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea
The City of London and Colour Squadron assist once a month at the Royal Hospital Chealsea helping pensioners and providing entertainment in the form of film shows.
